Congratulations to Hunter Stephens ‘27, Michael McTiernan ‘27, Christopher Keating ‘27, and Jacob Fried ’27 on being named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program!

This prestigious recognition honors students who have demonstrated exceptional academic promise and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT. Their achievement places them among a distinguished group of high-achieving students recognized nationwide.

This accomplishment is a testament to Hunter, Michael, Christopher, and Jacob’s dedication to their studies, intellectual curiosity, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Their hard work in and out of the classroom continues to make our community proud.

The Joseph R. Riverso Memorial Football Game brought the Stepinac community together for an evening of football, remembrance and tradition.

The game also provided an opportunity to honor the 25th anniversary of September 11 and recognize the first responders who continue to serve our communities.

Throughout the evening, the Stepinac community came together to remember, reflect and celebrate the values that connect generations of Crusaders.

The memorial game also honors the legacy of Coach Joe Riverso, whose connection to Stepinac continues through the students, athletes, coaches and alumni who carry his memory forward.

Stepinac’s new Saint Carlo Acutis Digital Media Fellowship gives students the opportunity to create real content, develop real campaigns and work with real professionals.

Endowed by The Benjamin Family ’19, the fellowship provides hands-on experience in digital media, marketing, communications and brand development through real-world projects supporting Stepinac and its partners.

Students will explore areas including social media strategy, video production, photography, graphic design, branding, content creation, audience engagement and campaign development.

New York Medical College and Archbishop Stepinac High School have signed a new academic partnership agreement, creating a pathway to help students interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy.

Through this partnership, eligible graduates of Stepinac’s Susan and Daniel P. Mahoney ’67 Health Sciences Honors Academy will have preferred admission to NYMC’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.
