Senior Internship Program
The Stepinac Senior Internship Program provides seniors with the opportunity to gain meaningful, real-world experience before graduation. Students are matched with local companies and organizations based on their interests and career goals. The program runs for three weeks during school hours in the spring and is designed to complement, not conflict with, after school activities.
To prepare, Stepinac students take a dedicated Internship Class that builds essential skills such as résumé writing, workplace readiness, and professional communication. During the internship, students are expected to attend daily, complete weekly reflections, and demonstrate professionalism at their placement site. Sponsors provide formal evaluations, which—along with classwork—contribute to the student’s final grade.
The Stepinac Senior Internship Program not only strengthens career readiness but also helps students develop responsibility, confidence, and skills they can carry into college and beyond.
