Description: The Science Honor Society is a prominent scientific organization that will engender new young thinkers who will be the future of industry, research, and scientific exploration. Admission into the society is highly selective. The purpose of the society is to encourage participation in and recognition of scientific and intellectual thought. It is to advance the student's knowledge of classical and modern science, to communicate with the scientific community, and to aid the civic community with its comprehension of science. Members will engage in projects that will encourage scientific and intellectual thought, to further the knowledge of science in school and the community.
